An that is a good thing because it will be a lot cheaper ($140,000 for the Macan S and $105,000 for the basic one) so I can buy one in 5 years time.

yeah. You ppl grew up in North America have it easy.

It wasn't easily to explain to ppl here why my first car is a 14k used BMW; but pretty convincing to folks in my home country (Taiwan) on spending less than 14k on a used one.

Cuz their follow up question are always: isn't the new one half the price here? Why don't you get a new one?
